My dad is a priest, and one Sunday during the service, he saw one of his parishioners slumped over and “not doing well,” as he said it. He interrupted the service to check on the man. There were two nurses present in the congregation and neither one could find a pulse (and for some reason neither found it appropriate to begin CPR). My dad called 911 and instructed the congregation to begin praying. By the time the EMS arrived, which was at least ten minutes later, the man had recovered from being dead.
Yes, recovered. From being dead. Which, medically speaking, isn’t a thing. Let me explain. My dad sees this guy breathing strangely, and from what my dad described, it was apparent to me that this is agonal breathing, something that typically occurs as someone is dying. It can last for a few minutes or up to a few hours, and in the case of cardiac arrest or cardiogenic shock, it can last for a few minutes after the heart has stopped. In cardiac arrest a person only has a few minutes to try to reverse the heart’s failure to pump, and this is done primarily through CPR and defibrillation, neither of which happened here. In cardiogenic shock there is more time to treat the problem, but it requires medical treatment that is generally only available in a hospital and the patient almost never spontaneously recovers without medical intervention. If we keep in mind that this man had passed out and had no pulse, combined with the agonal breathing, he was either dead or moments shy of it, and CPR and rapid deployment of a defibrillator are the only things that medically would help bring him back at that point. No one present did either in spite of the presence of two nurses who probably should have known what to do.
In review, a man was agonal breathing with no pulse, the only thing my dad did was call for help and then lead the congregation in prayer. By the time EMS arrived the man was alert, speaking and moving spontaneously, and was unaware of what had just transpired. The only reason he went to the hospital with EMS was at my dad’s urging. Two kids were there during this event and my dad overheard them the next week as they walked into church saying to one another “do you think someone else is gonna die this week?” Even the kids knew what had happened. My dad mentioned that he didn’t realize the gentleman was dead at the time, and only figured it out upon thinking about the situation after the fact—which means my dad raised the dead by accident..
Raising the dead isn’t meant to be the pinnacle of spirituality, nor should it be. In fact, as my dad demonstrated, it can be the result of simply stepping out in faith even when you don’t actually know what the problem is, and in this case, even when you don’t know the man is dead.
Jesus raised multiple people from the dead, and after He died and rose again, He gave us power and authority to do the same. In Matthew 10:8 Jesus said “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” and again in Matthew 28:19-20 He gave the command to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Teaching us to obey everything Jesus have commanded the disciples to do includes raising the dead. In fact, Hebrews 6:1-2 tells us that raising the dead is a basic teaching of the faith, not special advanced-level spirituality.
A friend designed a shirt, of which I have one and quite enjoy wearing and it says “Raising the dead is not a suggestion—it’s a command.”

Back in January of 2017 a Bible in Dalton, Georgia began to get supernaturally saturated with oil, and eventually it overflowed, dripping and flowing slowly out of the book—enough so that vials could be filled and given away. Eventually it gained enough publicity that those involved with the Bible began to minister locally and around the country, having regular meetings to share what God was doing in and through the oil, to give vials of oil away for free, and to pray for the sick to be healed. However, recent events have brought the Dalton Oil miracle into question—specifically concerns that the entire “miracle” has been faked, and that it was all in fact just mineral oil purchased from a local tractor supply company.
Investigative journalists have done their own research and have already drawn their own biased conclusions in an article titled “Claims that a Bible in Dalton is flowing with oil undermined by new information” I am still on the fence to a certain degree as to what to think about this issue, as I have a somewhat different perspective on the subject than most people in or outside of the church. In my book Gemstones From Heaven I discuss some of the issues with using human knowledge and perspective as a means of testing signs, wonders, and miracles, and will look at the subject to some degree here inasmuch as it relates to the Dalton Bible and its oil. Due to the nature of the topic, this article is longer than most that I tend to write. For those unfamiliar with this miracle, you can read an article I wrote about the initial manifestation on our other website, TheKingsofEden.com here and a guest article from a friend posted on TheRisingLight.com here.
The journalism article posted above speaks about an investigation process into the Dalton Oil miracle, and found that Jerry, one of the Dalton Bible owners has been identified by employees of a Tractor Supply Co. on more than one occasion as buying large quantities of mineral oil over the past few months. While at first Jerry denied the allegations (according to the article), a statement posted on the His Name Is Flowing Oil ministry website on February 14th, 2020 states that he did, in fact, purchase mineral oil, but does not state a quantity or frequency. It also states that this was done without the knowledge or agreement of any other ministry members, but then also states it was never added to any of the miracle oil.
Other interesting details surrounding this controversy include the fact that the Bible only ever produced oil while in Dalton and never while the ministers traveled to other locations, and the fact that according to another statement on the ministry website, posted on Feb 4th, 2020, that the Bible has stopped producing oil and that the ministry will cease meetings after Feb 11th, 2020. The website states “From the very beginning of this sign and wonder we have always considered that God started it, and He can stop it anytime according to His timing and will. If the oil does not begin to flow again, we in no way grieve.” Additionally, someone had the miracle oil tested at the beginning of the year (the document was written on Jan.6, 2020), and the professional spectrography results show it has a similar makeup to mineral oil. According to the article, “A series of chemical analyses by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga of Pearce’s oil compared to the Ideal brand mineral oil at Tractor Supply found Pearce’s oil is petroleum-derived and is a nearly exact match to the product sold at Tractor Supply.”
I want to review the facts stated in the article, add some details of my own, and then share my perspective on both the miracle manifestation of oil flowing from heaven and how this entire controversy is being handled by the His Name Is Flowing Oil ministry. My hope is that this will both shed light on a biblical perspective for how we ought to approach this miracle as well as the controversy, and shed light on how this type of issue can be better-handled in the future, as God isn’t planning on stopping miracles, and the Body of Christ still has room to grow in how to maturely steward this kind of miracle manifestation.
First, it is very sad that anyone’s actions have caused this entire miracle to be called into question. The fact that someone who has been growing in prominence due to a miracle related to oil would buy quantities of it from a tractor supply company (and from what reports say, buy it on multiple occasions) is certainly and undeniably suspect. Further suspect is the fact that once the manifestation was called into question, the accused did not explain what he bought the mineral oil for, but instead apologized that he have brought doubt onto the miracle and yet still affirmed that the miracle was real. In other words, when accused of lying, instead of proving one’s trustworthiness, the individual in question’s public statements have effectively been “Yeah, I did buy oil, but I didn’t use it to fake the oil miracle, and you can trust me because I am telling you I am not lying.” Most people are not willing to accept that kind of answer, and realistically they shouldn’t. If the mineral oil purchased from the tractor supply company was bought for other purposes, it should be very simple to state those other purposes, and preferably prove where possible that it was used for what it was purported to be for. While no one is technically owed an explanation when one chooses to step into a public ministry position there is a measure of personal integrity that can reasonably be expected, and when an individual’s actions call that integrity into question, I do not think it is unreasonable for those affected to expect a rational explanation for what otherwise looks very shady. Failing to explain, or in this case directly avoiding an explanation, only casts further doubt upon the integrity of the individual, and in turn the integrity of the ministry and the miracle.
Second, in spite of the ministry stating that the oil coming from the Bible is a true miracle, it is difficult to believe that none of the oil that was given away was ever faked. While I personally possess no proof one way or the other, I confess that upon hearing about the circumstances, that while I am still waiting for all the facts to be gathered, it is very difficult to believe otherwise. The Bible has been producing oil for multiple years. Can anyone prove beyond a shadow of doubt that none of it was legitimate? Of course not. Thus, for those who want to say that this is a closed-case with an obvious answer (ie. its all fake and the ministry is lying), things actually are a bit more complicated than that.
Third, it can be very easy to vilify someone unjustly in a situation. I spoke with Jerry on the phone about a year after the oil manifestation began and he was a very down-to-earth individual. He was very clear that the miracle was something God was doing and he took no credit for it. He seemed like someone who was genuinely touched by what God was choosing to involve him in, and wanted to share it with people. When some big controversy like this comes up, I think it is important at times to take a step back and look at a number of factors. First, how many people have ever been in a situation where there is pressure to perform a miracle? Certainly many ministers have, but most other people are unfamiliar with the pressure that comes especially with these kinds of miracle manifestations. Until you are in a similar situation, I truly don’t think you understand the pressure to perform and how the enemy can use that to twist what God is doing.
I know someone who once planted gemstones at a meeting to “help God out” and seed the faith of the individuals present before beginning to minister. Mind you, this gentleman was also having a legitimate manifestation of gemstones appearing regularly around him, so it isn’t as though the entire thing was faked. While in that instance the initial gems had been planted, I’m pretty certain they had all appeared from heaven at an earlier date (thus still being real heaven-gems), and the minister has since been very transparent about the failure. I suspect that if (and we still lack incontrovertible proof) mineral oil was added to the miracle oil that it probably was a bad response to external pressure. I don’t think that even if some of it was faked that all of it was. Usually when people make mistakes, it is well-intentioned bad decision-making, and while I do think it is important to maintain the integrity of the miracle (or confess readily if there has been tampering), I also think that external pressure and fear of what possibly millions of people will think if finding out that any of this has been faked only pushes people to hide their deeds instead of being open. Why? Because while of all people the Church should be known for giving grace, we are often those who cast the first stones. In fact, if you recall it was the Pharisees, church leaders of their day, who were the ones pushing to crucify Jesus—and we would be deluding ourselves if we think we have grown past that. Even if a person or persons in the ministry faked part or all of the miracle, I think we could simultaneously expect the truth to be shared and give them grace instead of heaping judgment upon them.
In spite of the unfortunate controversy, I think it can be far too easy to throw out the entire miracle, ministry, and manifestation of heavenly oil and label it all as fake, false, or demonic. I also believe that if we did so, we would be missing out on something important. I know that it is possible for oil to manifest supernaturally. In, fact, there are multiple scriptures that speak of this very thing, so it is well within the bounds of something our Creator is capable of. The Holy Spirit and the power of God to transform the world are both linked in scripture to oil, so it is important that we understand that God actually does want to do oil miracles and use them to help make things on earth as they are in heaven. If we throw out everything about this miracle due to controversy, then the only thing we will get is a hardened heart. The disciples had a similar problem, actually, in missing the message of a miracle. In Mark 8:11-21 Jesus spoke to his disciples about how in spite of seeing a miracle that they totally missed what He was trying to teach them, ending with “Do you not understand? (v21)”. While we need to be honest, open, and transparent about failures, including if any of this miracle was faked, we are in danger of losing sight of what God wants to teach us through this miracle if all we can do is focus on the failures. It is important, now more than ever, that we continue to thank God for the legitimate miracle of flowing oil that He has released, and to ask Him to reveal to us all that He wants to do in our hearts through this sign and wonder.
It is true that someone took a sample of the oil (as best as I can tell at the beginning of this year, 2020) to have it chemically tested. The results (written about here ) say that the oil is petroleum-based and basically are an almost-exact match for the mineral oil sold from the tractor supply company. While some of the test results are disappointing, there is something that I don’t think anyone has addressed so far that is kind of important—and if someone lacks experience with the miraculous it isn’t likely to be something they would ever consider. It’s simply this:
Testing the oil doesn’t actually tell us anything other than its atomic makeup.
We have run into the same problem with gemstones that appear from heaven as well. Because there is no “correct” formulation for heaven-sent oil, identifying its molecular structure does nothing to either confirm or deny the veracity of the miracle—it simply tells us what the substance is created from regardless of whether the miracle is real or not. I’m not saying it is okay to fake things, because it isn’t, but scientific testing of the atomic makeup of something doesn’t in any way inform whether it’s origins are supernatural or not. Let’s use the example of something incredibly mundane for a moment—say a pile of mulch supernaturally appeared in my yard, and then someone tested it and found it was just regular old chips of wood from trees. Regardless of the results of the test, it wouldn’t change the fact that I witnessed a pile of it appear in front of me. People had this same issue with the gemstones. “They’re just fake” or “plastic” or “glass” or whatever. Okay, maybe they are. But maybe they aren’t. I have personally seen gemstones fall from midair with no balcony above me in the middle of a living room with multiple witnesses present who also saw it appear. This particular stone appeared in midair over my head and another person’s, and then fell over seven feet down to land on the carpet. Regardless of what that gemstone is made of, no amount of scientific testing of its atomic structure can change what I saw (To read more about the gemstone miracle, read my book Gemstones From Heaven). Likewise, while testing certainly could reveal that the current oil being tested was in fact faked, that doesn’t mean all of the oil was, nor does it mean that God couldn’t or wouldn’t cause oil to appear that was, in fact, petroleum-based in its chemical makeup. It is limited human-based thinking that says things like “If it was really from heaven then it would . . .” God isn’t required to do things the ways we think they should be done (funny—He mentions as much in Isaiah 55:9), so we probably need to get His perspective on things instead of relying on our own.
One of the things about the gemstones appearing from heaven is that the miracle tested people. I suggest that the oil tests us as well. Even this controversy tests our heart motivations. Will we slander or cast judgments without looking into the situation properly? Will we ignore what God is doing in our midst when things don’t look perfect? Will we choose to weather the current storm and keep our eyes fixed on Him in this issue, or will we allow our fears, suspicions, and negative heart attitudes to rule how we each respond individually in this time.
Now, having said all of those things, including that we need to give grace to those involved, withhold judgmental attitudes, and also recognize that we need a God-perspective when it comes to the miraculous, I also am a firm believer in the fact that we need to grow in discernment of what God is doing, and that integrity is important. To that end, I think that His Name Is Flowing Oil as a ministry is doing a poor job of managing this controversy as a whole, for a few different reasons.
The circumstances surrounding all of this are obviously suspect to begin with, and the near-total-silence from the ministry only makes things worse. The initial new article breaking the controversy was posted on Feb 13th. The ministry website has an update on Feb 14th to address the issue and to explain their perspective, as well as to encourage those whose faith has benefitted in some way from this miracle. I think it was wise of them to encourage people, especially recognizing that many will be disheartened by the news. However, while speaking minimally to it, they largely brushed over the heart of the issue, which is whether or not part or all of the miracle has been faked.
Furthermore, the next update, which came on Feb 19th, says the following: “There are conflicting statements being told regarding the integrity of the oil flowing from the Bible in Dalton, GA. We know the oil flowing from the Bible was a true miracle. We deeply regret that this controversy happened. We want to assure you that the statements are being reviewed by our ministry and steps are being taken to attest to the integrity of the oil. We will keep you updated as more information comes to light.”
The one thing that we have yet to see from this situation is transparency. It honestly is really simple. Either an individual purchased oil that was then added to the miracle oil, or it was purchased and then used for other purposes and not added to the miracle oil. What people really need to hear is what the mineral oil was used for. If it wasn’t added to the miracle oil, why the secrecy?
The Bible is no longer secreting oil, so time-lapse video with reputable witnesses present isn’t possible at this time. Testing the oil, which has already been done, only points to the likelihood that it has recently been faked, and only by testing an early sample would there be a chance of different results, but even then as I explained above, that isn’t conclusive either due to the nature of how these kinds of miracles happen. At this point it is going to be near-impossible to “attest to the integrity of the oil”, and if that attestation was going to come, it really already should have happened (keeping in mind that it is now the 25th, nearly two weeks after the initial exposure of the potential fraud).
I want to add an additional detail about this situation. I don’t recall who specifically told me this, whether Jerry or someone else, but I heard it around the time I began researching the Dalton miracle in early 2018 and around the time I had the phone interview with Jerry. I recall being told that the Lord had told the ministry that so long as they gave the oil away for free and did not charge for the miracle, that it would continue to flow. I will say that they have been very faithful in that regard, and to the best of my knowledge have never charged a cent for it. In fact, I recommended early on that they put a donation button on their website so that people could donate to help cover the cost of vials, shipping, etc. if they felt led, and to date the website still does not have a way to accept donations. While there is a current controversy, it should be fairly clear that this ministry has not been in this for the money. There is no growing series of materials, books, messages, etc. for purchased by this ministry. They do not and have never sold the oil, and you can’t even really donate to them without going out of the way to mail a check or by being at a ministry event in-person. I think this speaks to the overall attempts by the ministry to operate in integrity in stewarding this manifestation, even if it has met with other failures.
The thing that saddens me about all of this is that the oil has stopped. And if I look at this from a prophetic perspective and not an earthly one, it seems that if God said that so long as the oil wasn’t sold that it would continue to flow, that obviously something has still happened—possibly someone “selling out” so to speak even if the oil itself wasn’t sold. Practically speaking I could see that trying to take a liquid-producing Bible on an airplane could be difficult, so God may have given grace for it to produce little or no oil while elsewhere, or to reduce its production at times for practical human purposes, but the oil stopping entirely is more indicative of God having a direct hand in the situation. Given the circumstances, if indeed the oil was switched out then either the miracle stopped a while ago and the mineral oil was purchased to “tide things over” until it started up again and that never occurred, or God stopped it to expose what is currently being exposed now so that the miracles could be free of taint. Again, while I cannot prove any of this, it is certainly how it appears to me if I look at the nature of God and how He tends to do things.
I do hope that this helps bring some perspective to the controversy surrounding this issue, as well as correct some of the misconceptions people tend to have about how God works miracles. If anyone is interested in reading more on miracle manifestations, I currently have written two books on the subject, Gemstones From Heaven and Feathers From Heaven. My interview with Jerry was a result of my work on writing Oil From Heaven which I have not yet completed, and I have other books in the series planned as well. All of these books are intended to help bring understanding, wisdom, and discernment to these miracles as well as help build faith for individuals step into the miraculous in their own lives.
I would ask that we keep the ministry of His Name is Flowing Oil in our prayers, as well as anyone who is struggling over the current controversy. God is exposing much in the Body of Christ, and I am hopeful that whatever needs to be exposed will come to light so that we can continue to walk in the miraculous, and I will also be praying that God brings the fullness of His alignment to both this ministry and this miracle.
In a previous post titled A Bible Overflowing With Oil From Heaven we featured an article by Leah Lesesne of Shelemah who chronicled her encounter with a bible located in Dalton, Georgia that has been flowing with oil nonstop since January 27, 2017. Jerry Pierce and Johnny Taylor are the two “spokesmen” for this miracle, the bible being owned by Jerry and his wife.
The following are a series of Youtubes that outline the ongoing process of this supernatural oil manifestation. While they are lengthy, they also chronicle miracle after miracle the Lord has accomplished through His own power and presence as manifested through this miracle of supernatural oil from heaven.

For those who are unfamiliar with Praying Medic, he has been a Paramedic for over three decades. In 2000, while an atheist, he encountered Jesus in the bunk room of a fire station and that encounter radically changed the course of his life. In 2008 the Lord spoke to him in a dream and told the Medic that He would heal his patients if he would be faithful to pray for them. Praying Medic didn’t believe in healing at the time, but he began to pray. In 2009 he began a blog, the Mobile Intensive Prayer Unit, to chronicle the work God was doing through healing and miracles around the world, as well as to share some of his own experiences of learning to move in healing and miracles. Eventually he moved over to PrayingMedic.com. After blogging for years, he published his first book in 2013 called Divine Healing Made Simple, and in 2016 he appeared on Sid Roth’s show Its Supernatural (the video is below).
He often writes about healing, but also covers dreams, deliverance, hearing God and seeing in the spirit, spiritual travel, politics and economics, and more. He infrequently speaks at conferences and other training events, preferring to focus on writing books, podcasting, and now teaching online courses.

Orbs And Angels
I can’t remember when somebody first showed me a picture of an “orb.” “Orbs” are spheres of light that sometimes show up in photos. Many people told me they were angels. I wasn’t so sure. How could I be sure they weren’t just specks of dust or something else like that?
I wasn’t a total skeptic. I just wasn’t sure what to think. I’d been experiencing more and more angelic activity. I often prayed for people without touching them, yet they felt a hand on their body. I knew that the Bible says angels are ministering spirits, sent by God to serve us. But it seemed like there could easily be a natural explanation for the orbs as well.
Doing Experiments With Orbs
By the time of my first trip to Russia, I had become heavily involved in healing ministry. I wanted to see God’s glory manifested on this trip! I’d spent quite a while praying for the upcoming time in Russia. This was a youth group trip. I was one of the leaders, only a few years older than most of the youth. Many friends were also praying for our group.
We started noticing the orbs in photos on our first night in Russia. They only showed up in pictures. Were these really angels, or just something else?
I decided we should try experimenting. If these were specks up dust on the lens of the camera, they should show up in about the same place in different pictures. So we took different pictures in different places and compared them. The orbs showed up in different parts of the pictures.
But what if they were just something in the air? We started praying and declaring praise to God, then taking pictures to see where the orbs showed up. And yes, it seemed like they were concentrated around the people who were praying! I began to take the possibility that they might be angels more seriously.
Ministering To Russian Grandmothers
We soon got the chance to minister to a group of Russian “babushki.” “Babushki” are grandmothers. Many of these senior ladies had lived through World War Two and Hitler’s siege on Leningrad. (Now St. Petersburg.)
I was excited for the chance to share a testimony. Not so long before this trip to Russia, I’d prayed for an 86-year old lady in the United States whom the doctor had given 6 weeks to live. God healed her of multiple problems. It was a perfect testimony to share with these Russian grandmothers! I shared this testimony and a few scriptures like Psalm 103:2-5
Psalm 103:2-5 (NRSV) Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits— who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the Pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good as long as you live so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Then we began ministering to the old ladies. I laid my hands on a lady who was deaf in one ear. Her hearing returned in that ear! What joy!
The youth began ministering to other ladies. A young girl in our group laid her hands on one of the grandmother’s knees. Soon the old lady, in her 80’s, was jumping up and down. She was waving her hands in the air, and shouting “Glory to God!” (Slava Bogu!) in Russian. (Wow, I just felt my knees get all tingly as I am writing.) She had barely been able to walk because her knees were so bad. When the young girl laid hands on her knees, they got really hot and all the pain left.
The love of God that we felt on that trip was probably greater than most of us had ever experienced before. It felt like the air was thick with God’s love. And guess what we found in the pictures? Orbs, which seemed to be in the middle of all the spiritual activity.
The top picture is of our translator who ministered regularly to these grandmothers. You can see a ball of light in the picture, just above her forehead. The picture underneath is the young girl praying with the grandmother whose knees were healed and with another old lady. They were weeping because of the love they felt. You can see a ball of light right above the young girl’s head.
The picture below is from another one of my trips to Russia. I spoke and shared testimonies in different house meetings around St. Petersburg on that trip. This was one of those meetings. On all three of my trips to Russia, I was so aware of God’s presence that I often physically sensed it as a current of love flowing through my body. These trips were bathed in prayer. You can see all the orbs in the air at this meeting in a Russian apartment. I’m the dude with the orange shirt.
Why Talk So Much About Angels?
Maybe you think the orbs in these pictures are angels. Maybe you’re not quite convinced yet. I can’t completely prove it, but by now I’m pretty sure that the ones in these pictures were some kind of angelic manifestation showing up.
So what’s the big deal? After all, we shouldn’t worship angels.
Of course we shouldn’t worship angels! But we do talk about them, because the Bible talks about them. The Bible teaches that God has chosen to have angels partner with him to do his work, just as he has also chosen to have people partner with him.
God sends angels to minister to us, and that should encourage us! When we realize that God sends angels in response to our prayers and when we speak or act in faith, we will pray so much more. This encourages us to act and to share God’s love with people. The Bible says that even Jesus received angelic ministry after his temptation in the wilderness and in the garden of Gethsemane. How much more should we also thank God for sending angels to minister to us?

Missionaries teleporting across a raging river that they didn’t know how they would forge. A servant of God without a passport instructed by God to go into an airport bathroom in one city, worship God, and exit the bathroom in another city. A brother in Christ raising his hands and closing his eyes while leading a worship gathering in Florida opens his eyes to find himself in an elevator in China. A pastor while praying shoots up out of his body and spirit travels halfway across the world to pray for and release blessing and healing for someone. A man flying over Europe and down through the roof into an apartment acting as a comforting angel to a little girl. Chinese officials surrounding a meeting to capture the organizer for the event and the Holy Spirit whisks him hundreds of miles away.
These are just a few of the stories of what believers are experiencing around the world today.
My own journey in this started pretty young for me. I have a vague memory of flying to Mongolia as a child as a “missionary”. Or more recently flying over the ocean heading north toward England and being shown a man rock climbing simply for the sole purpose of praying for him:
In my dream I saw England and was flying over the sea toward it. It appeared as a hologram taking shape before me with all its topography (the lay of the land) and my attention was drawn to an area where people do rock climbing near the center of the country: http://www.climb-europe.com/RockClimbingEngland/Peak-District.html – and particularly toward one man who was ascending a small cliff face at that very moment.
I woke up and prayed for him.
I never knew the topography of England before. I went and checked topography maps on the internet and it was the same!
Was it “just a dream”? The word just is a four letter word we should use sparingly, don’t you think? What are you? Are you just a human? What does it mean to be human?
Before proceeding to read the rest of the article below, if you haven’t done so already, please read:
Both of these articles explain my position more clearly and the rest of this article below won’t make as much sense without this biblical foundation.
Teleportation and Spirit Travel is a subject of particular interest to me. I can’t help but be fascinated that this stuff is real (which doesn’t necessarily make it always “good”) and can and is being employed by God and also (and perhaps a great deal more) by the dark side.
I have met and talked with many people who have experienced some pretty wild supernatural experiences with God. I’ve had some experiences myself.
I am here to interact with my fellow supernatural brothers and sisters in Christ and I refuse to allow ill-founded judgements to continue any longer. I am tired of being marginalized or viewed with suspicion or rejected by others for attempting to believe the Bible and exploring what it means to be a supernatural Christ follower.
Didn’t Jesus say we would do what he has done and even greater works?
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14
Do we believe him?
I hope to open up the subject for discussion so we can all grow. Is this something Jesus has for his body to do? How do you know those dreams you discounted or don’t remember weren’t real?
I hope to inspire people with the truth that a relationship with God can be the most mysterious and most fun experience you could ever possibly dream of having. I was first attracted to Christianity because a Sunday school teacher wasn’t afraid to entertain the idea that aliens might very well exist. Her faith wasn’t threatened by all the other things that could be true in this mysterious universe.
I believe very strongly in the brotherhood and acceptance of the family of God even though we are quite a diverse bunch and we all have holes in our theology -two in the hands, two in the feet, and one in His side! We are all working toward becoming the One New Man (as the Scriptures put it) under the tutelage and guidance of Yeshua (Jesus – The Word of God), the Holy Scriptures (the word of God), and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is paramount in understanding and experiencing the things of God. Without him the things of God seem like foolishness.
“But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.” 1 Corinthians 2:14 (NLT)
I am telling you right now that sometimes some of the most learned Biblical scholars and “experts in the words of God” can sometimes be some of the most unspiritual people. Jesus bears witness to this time and again:
Jesus prayed, “O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike. Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way!
My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” Matthew 11:25-27 NLT
Reveal yourself to us Jesus!
Jesus said that for you to experience the kingdom you must become childlike. Open hearted, trusting, receiving, dependent children of God are the ones who get into the kingdom now and experience it… now!
Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.” – Jesus, Matthew 18:3 NLT
Jesus in this passage brings up another important point. Unless you turn from your sins you will not inherit the kingdom.
“Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-11
You will never participate in kingdom life (which may include legitimate spirit travel and teleporting) if you stubbornly cling to sins that Jesus died to set you free from (the devil will offer you illegitimate experiences if you choose to follow him), but if you confess and forsake your sins, you will find forgiveness and be cleansed from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9), and be fit for the kingdom’s work. Peter writes to “prepare your minds for action” because life in his kingdom is a flurry of holy and wonderful and downright exciting activity!
“Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.”” 1 Peter 1:13-16 NASB
Don’t fret! Absolute holiness is something the Holy Spirit does for you as you allow him to and as you are willing to surrender to God and part ways with your sin! You, the believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, are His Holy Temple in which God now resides! He has surrounded his temple with fire and filled you with his glory!
Holy means to be “set apart”, to be consecrated, to be wholly devoted. To be 100% his. To surrender ALL. This is what the Bible says is our Spiritual act of worship, our reasonable response to God is to give ourselves, specifically our bodies/temples, to him. This is the true way to worship him (see Romans 12:1-2). So now the kingdom’s power can and will be unleashed in your life. Prepare yourself for a great deal of excitement and joy!
Christ (which means “Anointing”) refers not only to Jesus himself but also to the Holy Spirit, our Teacher. The Holy Spirit’s job is to teach us and lead us into all truth (Truth=Jesus). He and He Alone is our Teacher. Of course He will often teach us through those whom he gifts as teachers to the church but they are not THE Teacher, the Holy Spirit is. The Bible says, “Let anyone who speaks, speak the oracles of God.” God, the Holy Spirit can speak through you. It’s the only way teaching ought to happen in the church. Here are a few Scriptures that point to what I’m saying:
Jesus said, “But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah (or Christ).” Matthew 23:8-10 NIV
“…for the Holy One has given you his Spirit, and all of you know the truth.” 1 John 2:20 NLT
“But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true–it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.” 1 John 2:27 NLT
“But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative–that is, the Holy Spirit–he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.” John 14:26 NLT
These Scriptures reveal that the Holy Spirit is our source for all things spiritual. He is our “spirit guide”.
So how do we Teleport and spirit travel? It should go without saying that our primary pursuit is not the stuff we get to do in the kingdom (miracles, healings, and possibly even teleporting) but to pursue the King Himself! If Jesus is not our first love, then we have fallen from a great height!
I am not interested in diverting people’s attention from Christ and the Gospel.
This loving relationship with Papa, Son, and Holy Spirit is what we were all made for! If we miss that, then we miss everything! I’ll say it again, if we aren’t grounded in our intimate union with the Trinity, then we are missing what we are made for!
Pray with me:
Holy Spirit, will you help me to receive the Love that Papa, Jesus and you have for me? Will you restore me to my first love? Bathe me right now in your liquid love that I may become infused with love and compassion for others and grow in affection for Jesus. Help me to grow into the realization of who Christ is in me and who I am in you and all that you pulled off for us at the cross and resurrection.
I tend to believe that our desires to experience more of the supernatural are in you for a reason. Pray for it! I think the Lord appreciates us taking a little initiative and gumption and going for something that we are interested in. Research and seek the Lord about these matters and launch into the deep with God!
As William G.T. Shedd said:
‘A ship is safe in harbor, but that’s not what ships are for.’
So do this. He will not disappoint if our hearts are pure and sincere.
A few Christians who have experienced teleporting and spirit travel.
Check out the following interview and testimony of Bruce Allen who I believe God specifically chose to bring this message to the church.
If you are interested to find some stories of Christians having these kind of adventures, I would recommend watching Sid Roth (search YouTube) who investigates and interviews those with these kinds of stories.
He talked about being teleported around the world to help others in need. He had stories like helping a woman and her kids find safety in a war zone to visiting and healing a Christian brother who had just been tortured for his faith in a Muslim prison. While this may sound crazy to the uninitiated, if you are familiar with the Bible, you know that this sort of thing isn’t that far-fetched at all. The truth often is stranger than fiction.
And finally the “How to” secret:
Live a life of love! Know Jesus! Be obedient and cultivate a life of prayer! Ask to experience God for yourself and keep on asking! Seek the Lord with all your heart and keep seeking! Paul writes to earnestly desire spiritual gifts. Dreams and visions from the Lord are part of what he has for his kids.
The Bible says happy is the man who does not condemn himself by what he approves. We have to be careful. I will tell you again, going out-of-body without the unction and moving of the Holy Spirit is extremely dangerous! The Bible does warn us of sorcery, witchcraft, and divination. It also warns of necromancy (communicating with the dead). That is likely to happen as the dead will often be the ones to greet you if you aren’t under Christ’s protection and guidance. They will also deceive you. The demons have manufactured all sorts of lies (alien visitations, star seeds, etc..) they are peddling to anyone who will listen. Any old lie will do if it keeps you from coming to and fully surrendering to Jesus Christ. Their agenda is against Christ. To marginalize and ignore him. But if you care about truth at all you can’t afford to ignore the One who is Truth (John 14:6).
Yes, I have been told that what I am teaching is dangerous and scary. Yes, I certainly hope it is dangerous and scary… to the enemy and all the dark forces! Dangerous to the kingdom of hell that surrounds us!
So yes I am in favor of doing this with and in submission to the Holy Spirit! Wouldn’t it be awesome to see an army of missionaries teleporting and spirit traveling around the planet lighting fires wherever they go ministering to the lost and hurting and broken out of their union, fellowship, and partnership with the Lord Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit?
I just want to close again with this Scripture:
“In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.” Acts 2:17 NLT

UPDATE!!!
The same day I posted this a friend of mine who is in active ministry called me up and told me they listened to some testimonies on this subject (you can find some on YouTube). They told me that right after they listened to it and then lost themselves in some worship songs they were “caught away by the Spirit.” I know this will be hard for some of you to believe unless you are already familiar with this sort of thing, but she found herself in a jungle in Ecuador ministering to a young girl who was alone and sobbing on a jungle trail. She was instructed by Jesus about her situation and what to do to comfort her. Right after that she was whisked away to Vietnam to comfort a young boy who was cold in a hut and very afraid.
Perhaps someday soon, you will be called upon to be someones angel as well. Even as I write that I realize how important our service to one another in the “ordinary” day-to-day world is. We DO get to be God’s angels (divine messengers) everyday to a very hurting world – most of whom won’t and can’t relate to you if you start talking about spirit travel and teleporting… so lets keep it our little secret. So let’s continue to tangibly love and serve our neighbors with God’s love!
—–
Again, If you wish to read my articles that led to the biblical framework for my thinking, don’t forget to read:
I hope this opens your eyes and heart to how big God is – “With God, nothing is impossible” and “Nothing is impossible for those who believe” ~ Jesus said. We ought to love and accept all our brothers and sisters in the faith, no matter how strange or eccentric. I want to impress upon you the need for being grounded in God’s Word. There is a great deal of deception out there and we live in perilous times!
As always, don’t hesitate to challenge me on any point! Ask me questions. Remember? I need you! You might just need me too!
“Seek the Lord while you can find him.
Call on him now while he is near.
Let the wicked change their ways
and banish the very thought of doing wrong.
Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them.
Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.”
~ Isaiah 55:6-7
In the last blog post I explored teleportation in Scripture.
We looked at how it has happened on many occasions throughout Scripture by the Spirit of God and, if you choose to believe the reports of believers who have experienced it, teleportation continues to happen today at (I believe) an ever increasing rate!
“Then the devil took him to the holy city, Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, 6 and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say,
‘He will order his angels to protect you.
And they will hold you up with their hands
so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’”
7 Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.’”
8 Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.”
10 “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say,
‘You must worship the Lord your God
and serve only him.’”
11 Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus.” Matthew 4:6-11 NLT
So the devil teleports Jesus to the pinnacle of the temple and tempts him to test God by jumping off. Apparently this is a very real temptation for him? And then the devil teleports him to the peak of a very high mountain and gives him supernatural vision to see all the kingdoms of the world. Worship me, he says, and it’s all yours. He was tempting Jesus to circumvent the cross. As if to say, you don’t have to suffer and die to reclaim this lost world, just worship me.
Jesus responded to the attack both times with Scripture (as the Father gave to him in that moment).
It’s SO important to know God’s Word if we are to survive the testing of the enemy (the written word of Scripture AND knowing the Living Word which is Jesus himself!) I encourage you, as I have many times before in my blog, to be a good “Berean”:
“Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.” Acts 17:11 NASB
Receive the word with great eagerness, search out the Scriptures for yourself!
Have you ever considered that when Moses was sent to rescue Israel from Egypt that for many of the miracles that Moses did, the Egyptian sorcerers could do the same? See Exodus 7!
Aaron, Moses brother, threw down his staff and it became a serpent. The sorcerers threw down their staffs and they became serpents. Somehow it wasn’t all that persuasive to them that Aaron’s snake then ate theirs? The ultimate showdown of power moves begins.
Moses and Aaron use the same staff to turn the waters of the Nile into blood. But, the Egyptian magicians then turned water into blood also. Next a plague of frogs, “But the magicians were able to do the same thing with their magic” (Exodus 8:7).
But listen to what happens next:
“When Aaron raised his hand and struck the ground with his staff, gnats infested the entire land, covering the Egyptians and their animals. All the dust in the land of Egypt turned into gnats. 18 Pharaoh’s magicians tried to do the same thing with their secret arts, but this time they failed. And the gnats covered everyone, people and animals alike.
19 “This is the finger of God!” the magicians exclaimed to Pharaoh. But Pharaoh’s heart remained hard. He wouldn’t listen to them, just as the Lord had predicted.” Exodus 8:17-19
From then on, the sorcerers could not do as Moses did and when the plague of festering boils came:
“Even the magicians were unable to stand before Moses, because the boils had broken out on them and all the Egyptians. 12 But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and just as the Lord had predicted to Moses, Pharaoh refused to listen.” Exodus 9:11-12
In the end times Jesus warns that the Antichrist and his false prophet will perform great miracles to deceive if possible even the elect.
“For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. 25″Behold, I have told you in advance.” Matthew 24:24
So… my point in sharing this is to say that a show of power isn’t everything and to alert you to the fact that we ought not to simply be searching for power. The devil can offer you a measure of that. We ought to be searching for the person of God Himself and to be endued with his power to turn the world upside down as the apostles did in the first century for God’s kingdom of love.
The Scripture predicts that people in the last days will have a form of godliness but deny it’s power. I don’t want that to be me. I don’t want that to be you.
How do we foster and protect a childlike heart that receives the things (or power) of God? How do we continue to walk in faith and freedom and the power of God?
This is your inheritance as a child of God and his promise to you, see Joel 2 below – Which has found its ongoing fulfillment since Acts 2:
The Lord’s Promise of His Spirit
28 “Then, after doing all those things,
I will pour out my Spirit upon all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy.
Your old men will dream dreams,
and your young men will see visions.
29 In those days I will pour out my Spirit
even on servants—men and women alike.
30 And I will cause wonders in the heavens and on the earth—
blood and fire and columns of smoke.
31 The sun will become dark,
and the moon will turn blood red( of course we don’t see this kind of thing happening do we?)
before that great and terrible day of the Lord arrives.
32 But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord
will be saved,
for some on Mount Zion in Jerusalem will escape,
just as the Lord has said.
These will be among the survivors
whom the Lord has called. Joel 2:28-29 NASB
I urge you, as the apostle Paul does, to earnestly desire the spiritual gifts (but most of all Love – PLEASE read 1 Corinthians 13!) in your walk with God just as Paul says in 1 Corinthians 14:
“Let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives—especially the ability to prophesy. 2 For if you have the ability to speak in tongues, you will be talking only to God, since people won’t be able to understand you. You will be speaking by the power of the Spirit, but it will all be mysterious. 3 But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them. 4 A person who speaks in tongues is strengthened personally, but one who speaks a word of prophecy strengthens the entire church. 5 I wish you could all speak in tongues, but even more I wish you could all prophesy…”
I was blessed years ago to read these angel’s words in regard to prophecy:
“For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10 NASB
Or, “For the essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus.” NLT
It’s all about Jesus! HE is everything!
“God is love… in whom we live and move and have our being.” (from 1 Jn 4 & Acts 17)
My position is this:
“For the believer, there is not more than Jesus to discover and experience, BUT, there is more OF Jesus to discover and experience!”
Now, I must admit, I got just the tiniest bit of flak for my post on teleportation and spirit travel. I can understand why this would freak people out.
When I was exploring visions in Scripture I was seeing that sometimes their spirits were leaving their body! Many would call this “astral projection” (I have no history, as some of my readers might, that would cause that word to be a negative trigger – I mentioned it once which I will refrain from using from now on. I realize now that it is needlessly provocative. I am SO sorry for my carelessness and recklessness of some of my wording.)
So when I was teaching people to prepare their hearts and minds for a vision from the Lord Jesus, I was strongly suggesting – and kind of geeking out over the fact – that this just might mean you have an out-of-body experience! And to realize that as you seek the Lord it’s ok and not automatically “from the devil” if that were to happen!
“Oh no! Daniel is teaching people how to astral project!”
That’s what some likely heard. But, that was not my intent at all. This is what the Bible actually says happened to so many saints and prophets and apostles! (Ezekiel, Paul, and John)
What a sad state the church would be in if it were to reject and judge people for believing the Bible! Thank God that isn’t the case! Have you ever read something in the Bible and thought that most people (even other believers) will find what you had just read as simply unacceptable? Sometimes we can’t wrap our minds around the reality what the Bible is actually saying. This has been true about me for most of my Christian life until the Lord started to open my eyes.
God has made me to be an writer. I know that. He has gifted me in this and in my desires and interests in the supernatural as well. I am glad for who he made me! I am happy to be who I am! I feel his smile and favor upon me. He has made me confident in my relationship – my friendship – with him. If you want to know how to arrive at that place of confidence I would be delighted to share my journey with you! Much of that journey is captured right here in this seven-year long blog.
I didn’t give myself my first life altering vision. I wasn’t seeking a vision. I was just seeking and loving Jesus, fresh back from a life of backsliding and going the devils way. The visions (and mostly dreams – night visions) have helped me immensely along the way however and so I don’t belittle them as some do and I don’t believe it’s wrong to seek them. I think we need to. I often ask for dreams from God and that I would remember them.
It is hard being here on this planet. The Lord is the master at striking a balance between keeping you grounded and present for your mission here AND giving you just enough of heaven along the way to keep the smile always on your face. I was beaming yesterday as this thought crossed my mind.
At the age of eighteen I came back to Jesus because he gave me a dream and showed me my life in five or so years time. The corruption and pain from remaining on the devils path that I saw was too great to bear and so I called up my mom who had been praying for me and asked to go to church with her!
God used a dream/vision of my future to bring me back to himself! Six months later I had an extraordinary supernatural experience with the Lord. It seemed to me that he took my spirit on a time travel. At least that’s my geeky way of interpreting what I experienced. The experiences of and with the Lord continue and I’m SO thankful for each and every one!
Stay tuned. Keep seeking Jesus with all your heart! Stay immersed in His Word and in fellowship and in prayer! And be free!
Don’t forget to read Part 1 here, and also the original Part 3 of his blog will be found here next week!
I love gemstone miracles because they are such a wonderful way for God to reveal his majesty and creative power.
In the past I posted an article about a church in Puerto Rico that has had over 1200 gemstones (at last count back in 2007) fall in its sanctuary. That miracle has ceased for that church, but it still astounds the world. I posted another article titled “Why God Miraculously Gives Gemstones From Heaven” written by Michael King, author of a book titled Gemstones From Heaven that came out in 2015. His book explaining God’s plan to release His glory through this gemstone miracle and the message the gemstones bring us. Today, I want to share video footage documenting this same phenomenon happening right in people’s homes–and how it all started for one couple.
In this video you can hear the testimony of how and when the gems started appearing for Glenn and Terrie Smith, of SHEM Ministries. Note that you can see gems actually appearing in the video.
They share various stories of when these large supernatural jewels appeared from heaven. This couple have traveled around the world carrying suitcases full of gems that God has sent them from heaven at various times and places.
They are very generous and give most of the jewels that appear away to other people. They have seen tens of thousands of stones of varying sizes appear in their meetings and home, and have shared this experience with many. Oftentimes after hosting the Smiths, others will find gemstones begin to appear in their homes and churches as an impartation of glory is passed by Holy Spirit from them to others.
This couple have also written a book called “Gemstones from Heaven” chronicling their story and experience of these jewels supernaturally appearing at many times and in many places, as well as sharing other stories of God’s provision, faithfulness, and love.
Listen to Jennifer Toledo and Sid Roth discuss how God provided bag loads of clothing for orphans . . . and more orphans, and hospitals, and more–all from 8 suitcases!! God LOVES humanity–all of the people He created.
Hear a story of how God multiplied food to feed the poor–and what God did to protect the ministry team from gunmen. Let your faith be encouraged in the love and protection of Jesus Christ!
A few years back my wife and I had the opportunity to have a small group meeting where many gemstones appeared supernaturally. A few years later, after holding some meetings hosting a minister with this manifestation, we began to have this happen in our home as well! The many questions we got about this prompted me to write a book titled Gemstones from Heaven, but more importantly it made me really look at the manifestation and consider what God is up to.
This stone appeared in May of 2015 to my seven year-old granddaughter. She was upset that God wouldn’t give her a big rainbow-colored stone like she had asked him. I sat her down and we talked about gratitude and appreciating the gifts of gems God was already giving us. She shifted her attitude and went to play and continue to have fun with the gems that were appearing. About twenty minutes later she came running out of her room yelling “God gave me a stone! God gave me a stone! Look everyone!” While that stone may not appear big to some, it’s significantly larger than the stones that normally appear for us, and it was what she was asking for–mostly. She wasn’t sure why it was not multi-colored until I held it up to the sunlight and showed her the rainbows it cast on the wall. Yes, God indeed gave her a rainbow-stone.
Gemstones appearing out of thin air may seem extravagant to some, and they are, but I think that’s the point. Many people ask “why would God do this” but we could equally ask the question “Why not?” Our heavenly father delights in His children. We are his beloved creations and he sent his son Jesus to die so that we might have everlasting life. The Bible says in Romans 8:32 ‘He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will He not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?’ If God would send his son Jesus, anything else pales in comparison, even gemstones.
These are a few of the stones that appeared in our house on that same day in May 2015. We were laying flooring with my stepdaughter’s husband who is a Jewish non-believer. We had experienced the gems before, but it was brand new to him. His mind was completely blown as hundreds of gems appeared that day and the following few days, and it gave us a really great opportunity to speak about the love and kindness of Jesus, and with such tangible displays of that love falling in front of him, he was much more open to hear than he normally is. The stones have continued to appear for him on occasion, as they do with the rest of us, and he gets excited each time he finds one. God’s ability to win souls for himself is far greater than ours, and I can’t help but feel that these gems are a representation of the value that he feels for each one of us.
We tend to view gemstones from heaven as a spectacular miracle–and they are. However, God says in Joel 2:29-30a that ‘Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth . . .’ We are in a period of time where God is yet again pouring out his Spirit and showing forth signs, wonders, and miracles. As the glory of the latter house is to be greater than the former, and the old covenant outdone by the new, how can a God who rained down manna from heaven six days each week for over forty years not do at least the same for us now under a greater covenant through his son Jesus Christ? If we believe manna truly rained from heaven overnight, how can we doubt that God can do the same with gems? How can we place any limits on what God will and won’t do?
Gemstones From Heaven
Many different people have experienced this manifestation at this time in history, and it is only increasing. All over the globe God is pouring out gems, regardless of language, intelligence level, gender, or belief. God is even going so far as to give gems to unbelievers! Just recently in my own home God made some gems appear that had a prophetic significance for a self-proclaimed atheist who was our guest at the time. Even after seeing them appear and hearing them fall on the floor out of midair she was questioning them, but the prophetic message wasn’t lost on her and God used that event to spark deeper conversation about Him in the following few days. God is far more gracious and abundant than we are, and even uses the gems as a tool to witness to the lost!
I believe that God wants you to experience this manifestation of His power and love, and I want to pray for you to experience it in your life: Heavenly Father, I ask that you release gemstones from heaven to everyone who reads this today. Let these gems witness to your beauty and goodness and love. Let hearts be transformed by this miracle, sign, and wonder, that our hearts may always and ever turn toward you more fully. We receive this gift not as something we have earned, but as a free gift that comes through your deep love for us, in Jesus name. Amen!
